Simon Says cheer game to work on cheer motions

Use current pop songs to create cheers… (Keep it in good taste)
Video tape practice and spend time with the team reviewing the tape
1:1 or 2:2 or 3:3 competitions: Have your girls split up in small groups and do a competition where they keep adding on jumps, cheer motions, tumbling and stunts.
Football for Cheerleaders: Divide your girls into two teams. Set up a game where you give the girls 4 tasks to complete. If they complete all 4 successfully, they get a touchdown and it’s the other team’s turn.
Relay Races: Divide you team into groups of 4 or 5 girls. Have each girl do a cheer motion/jump and then run to the next person in the relay line which will have a cheer motion/jump to perform before going on to the next person.
Obstacle course: Create motions, jumps, stunts or tumbling at stations that the girls must complete before finishing the course. You can do this game individually based on time or divide the girls into teams.
