AYF Pledge, Code, and Standard of Conduct
All administrators and volunteers are bound by the AYF Pledge, Code, and Standard of Conduct.
Each game and practice I participate in or administer provides an opportunity to be a Champion of Character. As an AYF member, I pledge to embrace the five core values of American Youth Football and to represent AYF, my Conference, my Association, my Team, and myself by:
Respecting my opponents, officials, teammates, administrators, coaches, myself, and the game.
Taking responsibility for my actions in all areas of my life.
Demonstrating integrity by standing by my word and doing what is right
Providing leadership through service to others while striving to be a leader on and off the field.
Exemplifying sportsmanship by holding myself to the highest standards of fair play
The Five Core Values of AYF
American Youth Football believes every coach, player, administrator, and volunteer should uphold these principles:
Leadership — Inspiring and serving others through positive example.
Integrity — Being honest, trustworthy, and accountable.
Respect — Treating everyone with dignity and fairness.
Responsibility — Owning our actions and commitments.
Sportsmanship — Competing fairly and honoring the spirit of the game.
Commitment
AYF believes that character is developed through consistent choices and actions. Coaches, administrators, volunteers, players, parents, and supporters all share responsibility for creating a positive environment that promotes learning, growth, discipline, teamwork, and respect.
By participating in AYF, we commit ourselves to upholding these values and standards, ensuring that character, integrity, and sportsmanship remain as important as competition and achievement.
